Discussion: We will be discussing the 1619 Project, sharing family history, and how it shapes our experiences today.The 1619 Project series is currently airing on Hulu, with the last 2 episodes showing on February 9th. Attendees can catch up on the series thru the month of February prior to the dinner. You can also read the original 1619 publication here to prepare for the discussion. PBS is airing a documentary about Zora Neale Hurston called, "Claiming a Space," which we will also discuss.
