Black women are paid 58 cents for every dollar paid to white men. September 21st denotes how far into the year Black women must work to be paid what non-Hispanic white men were paid the previous year (dates this year were pushed back to reflect the effects of the pandemic). Join us for a happy hour discussion where we will address our experiences with the wage gap and share strategies to secure equal pay. This event is in person so we can have an honest candid conversation and it will not be recorded. Please register for this event. Here is the happy hour menu for Georgia Brown's. There is outdoor seating.
